Megan Pridy
Getting her start in the hair industry at the age 15, Megan has built a highly successful career as not only an owner but as an educator for one of the world’s biggest professional brands, Kevin Murphy. She participates annually in advanced trainings with talented industry masters like Jaye Edwards, Becky Miller, David Cruise, Sally Rogerson, and more.
Megan truly loves the creative outlet and fulfillment her job provides. Boosting people’s self esteem and making an impact in their lives makes her work rewarding and worthwhile.
A salon owner since 2013, Megan has trained many salon teams throughout her career to thrive in this very high-demand industry, utilizing both her specialized technical skills and curated business approach. Her love of mentoring and connecting with the next generation of hairstylists inspires her to keep creating relevant education and mentorship opportunities.
Megan’s specialties as a stylist include creating lived-in colours and cuts as well as beautiful movement in heavier hair densities & textures. She has also been a bridal specialist for over 15 years and loves on-location styling for wedding parties.
Courtenay Girard
Passionate about education from the beginning, Courtenay completed training at Sassoon Toronto early in her career. Fueled by her love of connecting with people she wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to meet, she completed a year-long teacher training program with Sassoon alumni Sally Rogerson, and has since combined her love for education and mentorship by building curriculums and developing the critical support new stylists need.
In fact, Courtenay believes educating new stylists and seeing their progress and success is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work, along with the fact she gets to make people feel better about themselves.
Her extensive education ranges from technical programs with industry leaders like celebrity colourist Tracey Cunningham, Jaye Edwards, Michael Kelly, Chris Weber, Becky Miller, and Tressa to recently receiving her Provincial Instructor’s Diploma from Vancouver Community College, a program dedicated to facilitating adult education at a college level.
Courtenay is also passionate about her work behind the chair, and specializes in lived-in colour, natural-looking blondes, bobs, and short textured cuts. She’s a natural at creating dimension in all colours and bringing out movement and texture in your hair.
